The Store
Because I don't have a warehouse, or a license to do business in MA as a retailer, I'm providing products through a variety of affiliates and associations. You'll know them when you see them.
The purpose of the store is to provide direct access to those items (books, movies, art, posters, objects, etc.) that I feel will provide a solid grounding for understanding what Dada was/is and where it can go from there. More items will be added as I find them.
I hope that my work in narrowing things down, finding new products and associations, and research will at least help further the appeal and reach of Dada into the 21st century.

Monty Python Every sketch comedy troupe since these guys has tried to repeat their attitude and success. They've all failed. Monty Python had what nobody else has had since: an understanding that comedy is dada and dada is rude, vulgar, childish, and never explains itself. Perhaps the last real dada until we find a way to redefine what that means. |

This volume of 12 essays fills a broad gap in modernist art history. Taken together, these case studies on artists and concepts present Dada as a coherent movement with a set of operating principles. Among the " tactics" elaborated are the hyperbolic mimicry of dominant social and linguistic conventions, the performance of gender and other aspects of identity, the usurpation of the modes of a new media culture and marketplace, and the recycling of history and memory as blasted in a world traumatized by war. |

Yoko Ono You just knew she'd be here, huh? A founding member of Fluxus, Ono's style has always been intriguing, annoying, controversial, and cutting-edge all at the same time. What's more dada than that? |
