I, a citizen by natural birth of the United States of America, do pledge to do my part in order to establish justice, ensure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of Liberty for my friends, my family, my countrymen, and posterity. To that end, I swear that I will:
Protect the ideals of personal liberty,
Acknowledge that the government belongs to we, the citizens, and is our responsibility when it goes awry,
Defend the liberties and lives of family, friends, and countrymen.
