Just one, single, giant, burning question ...

Heaps?! What was Steve Nicol thinking having Heaps take the final penalty kick? Heaps is an amazing defender, a phenomenal player and -- yes -- a local talent. But to put a defender on the 12 yard mark when it's all down to him seems a bit much. Revolution drop a third straight MLS cup attempt, and for once I'm questioning what Nicol was thinking. I wonder if it has anything to do with missing a penalty against AS Roma when he played for Liverpool ... Probably not, but the game just ended and I'm upset.
